The 13th century Cistercian Abbey of San Galgano is perhaps one of the most dramatic settings for a legal Civil wedding, not just in Italy, but anywhere. It is in iconic Tuscan countryside not far from Siena. Note: No symbolic ceremonies allowed. Catholic weddings can be held in at Catholic church next to the abbey. Capacity for Abbey: Maximum of 60 because you have to consider if it rains, the inside can only hold a max of 60
